Okay, so even people that like Montana weather, like me, are saying this cold snap is too early. This morning it's calm -30f with clear skys. The last time it got to -40 i broke the extension cord that plugs into my engine block heater on my pickup. Then it gets this cold, even driving the pickup around wont warm it up enough to blow hot air out the vents - it's warm air, but not hot. . . The seats feel like bricks and the electric windows done work. . .
Anyhow, I got out yesterday to see the the Buffalo were up too. They look cold but for some reason I'm guessing with that huge thick coat, they do just fine in this cold, as long as they have grub.
I hope you all had a great thanksgiving and are looking forward to the Christmas Holiday season!
Merry Christmas!
